He has many years of experience in responsible positions within the sports, media, and event industries. After working as a lawyer at Baker & McKenzie, he was with DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga from 2009 to 2016, most recently as Senior Legal Counsel. There, he played a key role in supporting the DFL Group’s commercial activities, especially the awarding of media rights and the development of the sports data business.
From 2017, Christian Frodl was responsible for the management of national and international sports rights at Sky Deutschland. His responsibilities included not only rights acquisition but also media exploitation and the strategic development of new business and distribution models.
Based on this experience, Christian Frodl advises clients not only on legal matters but also with a profound understanding of economic interests, market mechanisms, and operational decision-making processes. His experience in entrepreneurial leadership also plays a role. Clients particularly value his strategic perspective, negotiation experience, and ability to provide integrated support for legal, commercial, and operational issues.

- Development, contractual design and operational implementation of commercialization and distribution models for the exploitation of Sky Deutschland’s sports/media rights
