Cilia Krutz, Counsel, advises companies on legal matters at the intersection of creativity, technology, and communication, with a focus on copyright and media law, commercial law, data protection and data law, as well as personality and defamation law. Her practice ranges from strategic legal advice and the drafting and negotiation of contracts to legal representation in court.

  • Advisory services and litigation regarding the licensing and digital exploitation of copyrighted content, particularly in the fields of music, film, and multimedia formats.
  • Contract drafting for licensing issues in the context of digital content exploitation.
  • Legal support and advice on social media presence, including advertising labeling, platform guidelines, and handling user-generated content.
  • Comprehensive advice on the development and distribution of connected products (Internet of Things/IoT, Industry 4.0), particularly regarding the implementation of regulatory requirements for data access and data use under the Data Act.
  • Legal advice on Artificial Intelligence applications, specifically regarding training with copyrighted content, the implementation of transparency obligations, and other requirements under the AI Act, among others.
  • Support in the design and legally compliant operation of online shops, including the drafting of terms and conditions, implementation of information obligations, and consumer protection regulations.
  • Comprehensive advice on implementing data protection-compliant processes within digital business models.
