Piet Bubenzer, partner, specialist lawyer for copyright and media law, works as a consultant and litigator in copyright and media law, press law, licensing law (including patents and trademarks), digitization processes and unfair competition law. As the former general counsel of a media company, he has special knowledge in the field of entertainment law.

- Copyright and media law advice to Pandora Media, Vodafone, Napster, Deezer, Real Networks, Rhapsody, T-Mobile, Flipboard and other leading service providers on content licensing;
- Advising the German Football League on the allocation of audiovisual and audio rights for the Bundesliga seasons 2009/2010 to 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 to 2020/2021 as well as 2021/2022 to 2024/2025;
- Representing FIFA in a copyright dispute concerning audiovisual content of the FIFA World Cup;
- Representation of 1&1 Mail & Media before the Arbitration Board (copyright) against VG Media regarding ancillary copyright for press publishers;
- Advising Jamba! / Fox Mobile Distribution on copyright and media law, including representation in litigation with CELAS;
- Advising Deutsche Grammophon and the German Football League on copyright contract law;
- Representation of Vodafone, T-Mobile and o2 as well as other leading service providers before the Arbitration Board (copyright) in proceedings against collecting societies regarding online music tariffs;
- Representation of Napster in the first known proceedings on the prohibition of a circumvention technology (§§ 95a ff. UrhG) in competition proceedings and on questions of e-commerce and data protection;
- Representation of Milupa in legal disputes under unfair competition and food law;
- Representation of Heraeus Group companies in litigation concerning the manufacture and distribution of medical devices as well as in litigation concerning the protection of trade secrets and know-how and antitrust law;
- Representation of Deezer in court proceedings against Gesellschaft zur Wahrnehmung von Veranstalterrechten (GWVR);
- Advising and representing the elite cycling team HTC-Highroad, which emerged from the T-Mobile team, on sponsorship, the right to make statements, contract law and various sports law issues;
